From 2018 to 2025 I co-owned Outer Planet Brewing, a small nanobrewery and taproom in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. I ran the taproom, events, and sales side of the business.

What I did

  • Events. Planned and ran the taproom’s calendar: recurring nights, one-off parties, and seasonal events. I created and ran our Trivia, Bingo, food pop-up, and beer-pairing class nights from scratch.
  • Sales & distribution. Managed a limited set of wholesale accounts and distribution relationships.
  • Partnerships. Built and maintained relationships with food vendors, event partners, retail accounts, and other Seattle breweries.
  • Marketing & communication. Handled the taproom’s public voice: announcements, event promotion, and community outreach.

A neighborhood spot

Outer Planet was a small, community-focused space: people came back for the beer variety and quality as much as the neighborhood feel. I stepped away when we sold the brewery to new ownership in October 2025.
